Islam in Sindh. Why Sindh is called Bab-ul-Islam? Well this is a video for those who think Islam came to Sindh because of Bin Qasim. Islam came to Sindh during the life-time of our beloved Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). Around 14 wars were fought between Arabs and Sindhis and Arabs won only 1. Their conquest was for military and Political reasons. It took Sindh 400 years to become a Muslim majority country while Bin Qasim came here only for a few months. Many saints came to Sindh way before Bin Qasim to spread Islam. Bin Qasim and Dahir, both had their Negative and positive points. Sindh lost the last war because of Political turmoil, inequality and envy in between the ruling family and also the public in general. Buddhist of Sindh higly supported Bin Qasim, against Dahir as dahir used to be harsh towards Buddhists. But later on Sindhis developed alot and got international recognition. Hindus and Buddhists both were respected during arab rule.
