Islam is now divided into three camps: 1. Openly declared Islamists-- ISIS, Hamas, al Qaeda, Hizballah, Hizb ut Tahrir, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban, Boko Haram and other jihadist organizations, plus the Islamist states of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Sudan, the Seychelles, Aceh Province and Brunei. 2. Anti Islamists, who recognize the Islamic nature of ISIS and the need for reform to remove Islamism from Islamic doctrine: Tarek Fatah, Canadian Muslim Congress Zuhdi Jasser, American Islamic Forum for Democracy aifdemocracy.org/about/foundational-values/ americanislamicleadership.org/link2 alislam.org/ bmsd.org.uk/.../challenging-supremacist-ideology.../ mpvusa.org/mpv-principles/ 3. Mainstream Muslims who deny the existence of Islamism and therefore deny the need for any Islamic reform to get rid of Islamist doctrines. They see Islamist jihadists like ISIS as ordinary criminals who merely use Islam as a cover for their crimes. My sense is that groups 1 and 2 are gaining members at the expense of group 3. Islam is being polarized around the issue of Islamism. https://youtube/watch?v=6JIUn2a9dbE&list=PL-krldSWSHU0-L2JWGtm1IjpfinHbL8ZZ
