Islamabad: Martyred Journalists Day was observed on Friday on the call of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) in collaboration with the National Press Club and the Rawalpindi-islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ). PFUJ President Afzal Butt, President NPC Sheheryar Khan, Secretary RIUJ Bilal Dar and human rights activist Farzana Bari are seen addressing the protesters who sought early arrest of the killers. The day was observed to condemn the governments indifferent attitude towards the killing of 3 media persons in Quetta and 2 in Hafizabad in the troubled Balochistan and the Punjab provinces. The journalists community demanded of the goverment to bring the murderers to book .
