Islay Storm Malt Whisky, selected barrels for Islay Storm were matured for 6 years and older. From which distillery remains a mystery. It is not entirely clear what Islay Single Malt has hidden here. The distillery is presumably Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Bowmore (therein was packed). The bottle shape is reminiscent of Bruichladdich and the label of Bowmore. Islay Storm Malt Whisky, Aroma: Strong touch of phenol with a light sea breeze. Taste: Sweet lovely peaty, iodine and salt are of vanilla and spices to balance aromas. Finish: waves of smoke with a fantastic length. Islay Storm is a product of "The Vintage Malt Whiskey Co. Ltd.." Glasgow, that includes the Ileach and Finlaggan Islay Single Malt range.
