Isnt it interesting how the Universe conspires to jolt us into awareness just when we have been dragged down by something or other. And then we, I, realize that what matters most in this strange life is friendship and the love of people Ive never even met. Dr. Jitu from India is one of those people. And five years ago when I had open heart surgery Dr. Jitu and his wife who is also a doctor traveled hundreds of miles to a special shrine to pray for me. I get teary eyed remembering that. And now, just a few minutes ago I got a phone call from Dr. Jitu but we couldnt understand each other so we resorted to private messages which I copied and hope you appreciate as much as I do. It now seems that you will meet this wonderful and loving man and his equally loving wife at my book launch on September 25. Can you imagine anyone traveling such a distance to be there.
