Israel, America, Russia and Rome I wish to briefly explain the sequence of events that will transpire regarding Israel, America, Russia and Rome, because there are many theories as to how these nations fit into prophecy. We know that it is possible to accurately place what is happening and what is about to happen because we can filter our studies through the message of William Branham (Malachi 4: 5). This article is purposefully designed to be a concise and direct overview of the exact sequence of events from now till the Millennium. The Bible is in fact very clear on how it fits together, so let us venture into this study with the fullness of concentration. Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (a global financial services firm) collapsed in 2008, which sparked the Great Recession upon the earth. This recession will continue to decline into a depression in accordance with( Genesis 26: 1: And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.) William Branham (our spiritual father in the faith) lived through the Great Depression (a famine or economic crisis) that was sparked by the October 29, 1929 Wall Street Crash. However, the Bride of Christ will likewise live through a second depression just as Isaac (Abraham’s son) lived through a second famine. This recession and eventual depression has been engineered by Rome (the Vatican) so that the global financial system will crash and cause the people to need a superman.( Daniel 8: 25: And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.) Saint Malachy, a 12 century bishop of Armagh in Ireland, prophesied of all the popes that would reign, beginning with Pope Celestine II (he began his reign in A.D. 1143) and concluding with the Pope whom Satan will incarnate (Saint Malachy refers to this man as “Peter the Roman”). According to the prophecy, Pope Benedict XVI is the second-to last Pope, and when he dies, then “Peter the Roman” will take the throne, whose pontificate will end with the destruction of the Vatican. We see then that the time is late and that the Beast is going to cause craft (manufacturing) to prosper (Daniel 8: 25). The global economy must first crash via the looming depression in order for it to be restored.( Daniel 9: 27: And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.) The Vatican will make an agreement with the Wall Street Jews (international bankers who control the paper money) to rebuild the global economy by forfeiting the current trading structure and will create a global currency valued against the gold standard. To ensure the Jews’ agreement of such a plan, the Vatican will grant them permission (flatteries; Daniel 11: 21) to build the Orthodox Jews’ long-awaited temple upon the Temple Mount after the Dome of the Rock has been destroyed (this will most likely be caused by an earthquake because the structure has already been greatly weakened by minor earthquakes). The Wall Street Jews will accept the agreement in accordance with prophecy, but at the end of the Tribulation (in the midst of the week, or after 3 ½ years of the seven-year covenant), the Vatican will break its agreement and forcibly stop (by using the United Nations military) the temple ordinances and sacrifices. In 1975, Henry Kissinger (a former American Secretary of State) proposed that Jerusalem become an international city with the control of the holy places and the religious administration being given to the Pope; since then the Vatican has itself proposed moving from Rome to Jerusalem. All of this is placed perfectly in( Daniel 11: 45: And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.) Rome will succeed in establishing (planting) its headquarters between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem; this has been the goal of Rome for centuries. Let us wind-back the time machine a little to the present and recourse our path. Before the Bride of Christ exits the earth via Her body change, there will first come “the Squeeze”; this will entail the closing down of all churches that will not join the World Council of Churches, and will also involve a boycott of all true believers that will not align with the new “international faith”, or that refuse to obey the looming loosing of anti-Word legislation;( Revelation 13: 16 - 17 say: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.) The Squeeze will cause the inner substance of the Word within the Bride to be loosed, and a short, sharp demonstration of spoken Word power (exploits) will be all that She will have to survive before Her LORD whisks Her away. This segment of time will be heralded with the California earthquake wherein Los Angeles and approximately 1100 miles x 500 miles of Californian State land will slide beneath the ocean. Such an earthquake will signal the end of the Gentile dispensation; there will not be a Gentile saved after this time (an earthquake in the Bible represents a dispensation change, and the California earthquake will be the sign that God is dealing with the Jews again). (1 Thessalonians 4: 16 - 17: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. )There will be a space of approximately 40 days after the California earthquake wherein the Bride will function with the fullness of supernatural power, and is the time when the New Testament saints will visibly appear in their theophany bodies to the Bride of Christ. We know that this space is approximately 40 days because Jesus was with His disciples for 40 days after His resurrection, which was heralded in Matthew 28: 2 by an earthquake (Acts 1: 3 says: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:). The Bride of Christ and the New Testament saints will then be translated into glorified bodies and will go the Marriage of Supper of the Lamb for 3 ½ years whilst the Tribulation descends upon the earth. Meanwhile on earth (after the Bride has been raptured), Satan will step into (incarnate) the Pope (“Peter the Roman”) and use the political system to hunt down and kill the foolish virgins (sanctified Christians that did not have the Holy Ghost). (Revelation 12: 10: And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.) Satan is cast out of Heaven at this time and ceases to be an accuser of the saints (Job 1: 6 - 11) because the Bride is now in Heaven and he (Satan) could only accuse Her when She was on the earth in a mortal flesh body born in sin. (Revelation 11: 3: And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. )During the Tribulation, the two witnesses (a Jew with the spirit of Moses and a Jew with the spirit of Elijah) will reveal the Lord Jesus Christ to 144,000 elect Jews (12,000 Jews from each of Israel’s 12 tribes). Their ministry will be for 3 ½ years (the duration of the Tribulation) and then they (the two witnesses and the 144,000 Jews) will be martyred (Revelation 11: 7: And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.). The bodies of the two witnesses will lay dead in Jerusalem for 3 ½ days and then they will resurrect and be translated into glorified bodies (Revelation 11: 8 - 12); the 144,000 Jews will not be resurrected till the Millennium. Israel will be the world’s top nation during the Tribulation because the Holy Spirit will be there via the ministry of the two witnesses. England likewise could not be conquered by France during the Napoleonic wars because it was having a revival via the many great reformers that God sent to it. With revival fire burning in the hearts of the 144,000 Jews, Israel will be unconquerable. The Tribulation will be briefly preluded by an Arab-Jew War, during which Israel will destroy Damascus (the capital of Syria; Isaiah 17: 1) and will occupy vast portions of enemy territory (Obadiah: 17 - 20) as well as eradicate all terrorist activity (Hamas and Hezbollah etcetera). For the first time in many centuries, the Jews will finally be living in peace (Ezekiel 38: 11), but unfortunately it is these conditions that provoke Russia to attack Israel (the Battle of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 39 and Ezekiel 39). It is also at this time when the peace will be further shattered with Rome striving to establish its headquarters in Jerusalem (Daniel 11: 45). The Tribulation will be an intense time; the two witnesses will be smiting the earth with plagues (earthquakes, famines, hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions etcetera); Russia will have begun its assault on Israel as it attempts to gain the mineral wealth of the Dead Sea and the oil beneath (Ezekiel 38: 13), and the global populace will be ensnared in a New World Order enforced by martial law (obey or die). Russia will be supported by a Muslim alliance (Ezekiel 38: 5 - 6) with the exclusion of Syria who will have been neutralized by Israel in the Arab-Jew War prelude. Egypt likewise is not part of the coalition because of a shock strike from Russia.( Daniel 11: 40: - 41: And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.) Islamic Egypt is the King of the South which will strive to regain its claim to the Temple Mount after the Dome of the Rock has been destroyed. Egypt’s interference will cause the newly arrived Russian army to deal a swift blitzkrieg (means in German “lightning war”) neutralization strike upon Egypt so that Russia (the King of the North) can play out its plan of destroying Israel. Zechariah 14: 1 - 5: Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. The Tribulation concludes with Russia and its Muslim alliance besieging Israel. Rome is ruling in Jerusalem at that time and an American led coalition army will be called upon to help neutralize the situation. The IDF (Israel Defence Force) will be helpless and will watch in despair as Israel crumbles under the weight of foreign armies. This will bring about the onset of Armageddon; it is when Christ and His Bride return to earth (Revelation 19: 11 - 16) after the Marriage Supper for a swift conclusion to the kingdoms of man. The LORD will fight against the enemy as when He fought in the day of battle; this is recorded in 2 Samuel 5: 22 - 25: And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines. And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer. Notice that the LORD fought the battle against the Philistines by using David and his army. The LORD will likewise fight the enemy by using His Bride as the vessel to administer judgment. She will speak the Word and the enemy will fall; in fact, Her words will cause anarchy to break out amongst the host of Russia (Haggai 2: 22: And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.). The spoken Word is indeed the sword of Revelation 19: 21 that will become red with the blood of rebellious men (the Russian military in Israel will be destroyed and Russia too will receive a nuclear exchange of exploding missiles from America; Ezekiel 39: 1 - 6). I have chosen to omit countless other details regarding the Tribulation and Armageddon simply because my goal is to give the readers a clear and concise overview of the sequence of events from now till the Millennium without wearing them down with all the minor intricacies. For now I shall bring a swift and sure conclusion to our study so as to ensure that we understand all the highlights. Armageddon is the third woe (Revelation 8: 13); it is World War Three; it is when the seven vials are poured out upon the earth, and it is when the capstone of Daniel 2: 45 impacts the kingdoms of man. Russia’s war is two-fold; firstly, it is the invasion of Israel accompanied with the invasion of the United States of America.( Revelation 17: 12 - 17: And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.) The ten horns are ten leaders of nations (including Russia and China) that have submitted or will submit their kingdom of communism to Rome. They will give their “allegiance” to Rome but their hearts will remain communist. Russia and the Eastern Bloc fully submitted to Rome in 1991 with the complete collapse of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; but what we are seeing now is Russia flexing its military muscles to rebel and do war. This rebellion is confirmed with the invasion of Israel and the invasion of the United States of America. PC games like “Modern Warfare Three” have already flooded the markets which portray a Russian invasion of mainland USA, because the heathen media prophets (like Balaam) are showing the global populace what is about to befall them. Ahab and Jezebel are well known characters of the Old Testament, and as we know via in-depth study, Ahab represents America and Jezebel represents Rome. The study of Ahab and Jezebel sheds light regarding the conclusion of Armageddon because we see that Ahab died first and Jezebel died second. America (Ahab) will therefore be destroyed first in accordance with William Branham’s vision of mainland USA covered in nuclear craters, and then the Vatican will have its turn to sample the wrath of God. Armageddon concludes with ten communist dictators (the ten horns) agreeing to break their pact with Rome, and will then launch a missile armed with a nuclear warhead towards Italy that will impact the Vatican and reduce it to dust within 60 minutes (Revelation 18: 10; it is my guess that the missile will be launched from a submarine). The destruction of the Vatican will shatter the global economy so that all the merchants (traders) of the earth will wail because all global functions have ground to a halt (Revelation 18: 11 - 13). A glance at the earth at the end of Armageddon will reveal a cratered USA, a flattened city of Rome in Italy, and a cratered Russia (Ezekiel 39: 6). The kingdoms of man will be no more and the LORD Himself shall take His rightful stance as ruler of the earth and will bring 1000 years of peace (the Millennium) under a theocratic government (the Word will be the Law and all mankind will abide by It). We are living in the end time, and modern events are escalating with great rapidity.
