Israel Is under rocket Attack - Color Red Alarm from Ashkelon to Tel Aviv, Caesarea and Jerusalem Israel has removed its gloves and is preparing for a wide- scale operation in Gaza. Thousands of call-up orders have been issued to reserve forces. The IDF warned the population in Gaza prior to attacks but officers say that the Hamas places civilians on rooftops and uses them as human shields. The operation in Gaza is in full force. Israel’s security cabinet approved the call-up of up to 40,000 reservists. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made it clear that Israel is preparing to conduct a long and firm campaign, with no option ruled out. For the first time in two years, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad have targeted Tel Aviv, launching at least seven long-range rockets at the city. The Iron Dome system intercepted them and no one was hurt. The Home Front Command has instructed mayors of cities and towns in the Dan region to ready the bomb shelters. Today, five Hamas terrorists from the Gaza Strip tried to infiltrate Israel from the sea. The terror cell circumvented the fence and entered Israel near Kibbutz Zikim, three kilometers from the border of the Gaza Strip. IDF forces identified the terrorists as they emerged from the sea and killed them. Hamas says that the terrorists were part of its sea commando forces. All day, and even as night fell, IDF forces attacked Gaza from the air, targeting training facilities of terror organizations, arms warehouses, and open spaces where rocket launchers are concealed in subterraneous hiding places, as well as the homes of senior Hamas and Islamic Jihad commanders. This has not stopped the fire from Gaza and more attacks are expected in the south and the center of the country. The IDF is concentrating forces on the border of the Gaza Strip.
