Israel approved 1,000 new homes in Jewish settlements [colonies] on the West Bank. How could the Palestinians, in good conscience, continue to be in "talks" with the Israelis? Are the Israelis really serious about peace? Actions speak louder than words. I recall my Contract Law professor, 30 years ago, walking up the lecture hall stairs and saying, "I am not walking up the stairs." The point he was trying to demonstrate is that the words do not always match the actions and warned us to be careful when parties say one thing and do the other. Israel is clearly saying it wants peace but acts other wise by building the colonies.
