Issue No. 1 - The union asked for immediate replacement of four (4) AM (DXDC) and three (3) FM (iFM) vacant regular positions vacated by those who voluntary resigned and those being promoted to higher positions. My humble opinion: Its a management call. A management prerogative. Issue No. 2 - The union questioned the promotion of technician Oliver Po to higher position (technical supervisor). Being promoted means an increase both in working condition and compensation of the worker concerned - one of the very reasons a workers union is formed or for a worker to join a union. If RDEU-NAFLU-KMU is indeed pro-worker as it claimed to be, then it should be happy for the promotion of former union member OLIVER PO. On the other hand, the promotion of a rank-and-file worker to a supervisory or even managerial position is an exercise of management prerogative. Issue No. 3 - The union questioned the transfer of iFM-Davao manager Rico Jumuad to Tacloban and the transfer of technical supervisor Jaime Pude to Dxmd Gensan. Apparently, Jumuad and Pude are managerial and supervisory employees, respectively, and are outside the coverage of the collective bargaining unit which is the rank-and-file employees of DXDC-Davao and iFM Davao. Their employer is Radio Mindanao Network (RMN), Inc. and not iFM-Davao and DXDC-Davao, per se, which are mere units of RMN. The Company (RMN) has the right to assign or reassign any regular employee - supervisory and managerial employees for that matter - to any unit or sub-unit of the organization anywhere in the Philippines in the exigency of the service. They are not the first and only RMN employees to have been reassigned. They may be the last or among the last of the employees being reassigned in the Companys 62 years of existence. Again their transfer is a management prerogative. Issue No. 4 - The union questioned the hiring of two contractual anti-communist announcers Erin Doblas Lumosbog and Joel Viray. Clearly, RDEU-NAFLU-KMU - a puppet of the Maoist CPP-NPA-NDF terrorist organization in the league of Al Queda, Abu Sayyaf Group, Jemaah Islamiyah, and lately ISIS - is opposing the hiring of talents Lumosbog and Viray, known anti-communist announcers and members of TROPA Mindanao, because the Union is pro-communist. The issue is political and has nothing to do with the CBA or the regular employees security of tenure which should be the Unions concern. They are not the first and only contractual talents hired by RMN for DXDC-Davao and iFM-Davao. During his tenure as iFM Manager, Rico Jumuad also hired talent DJs but RDEU-NAFLU-KMU made no complaint because Jumuad and his elks are its whipping boys and girls. By raising the issue, RDEU-NAFLU-KMU only exposed its true color and made apparent what is obvious.
