Issues jeremybuckingham For politically minded friends in Missouri (around St Louis and maybe elsewhere) I want to draw more attention to a legislative race I am truly excited about and fully endorse: Jeremy Buckingham. jeremybuckingham/issues.html (MO 83rd State Rep District, St Louis Area) house.mo.gov/districtmap.aspx?district=083 This is Maplewood, Richmond Heights, Brentwood. Middle class, mostly Democrats. I am excited about this race for several reasons, but I think Jeremy is a new kind of Republican, the proof can be found in the bottom up tax cuts listed as the second issue in the above link. No way that any Republicans should be opposing tax cuts for anyone, let alone the bottom half of society, and no way any good Democrats should be putting the interests of government control over those of middle class people. This is EXACTLY the right approach. (It is why I also promote the efforts at No MO Sales Tax) I consider this one of the key races in my region (St Louis County) this November. I believe a good showing in this race will establish the new direction needed for those of us working to make Republicans what they ought to be. A victory should be considered proof positive end of discussion. Along with Jennifer Bird for St. Louis County Council, I consider Jeremys campaign well worth the energy of all like-minded small government supporters. Please give your money, time, energy, blood, tears, toil and sweat to these causes.
