It also demonstrates conclusively the utter failure of the humanist, secularist “opening to the world” the Church has engaged in, by and large, for the past 50 years. We already know millions of souls have fallen away – and each one of those is a tragedy of a magnitude we simply cannot calculate – but now those souls are opting for islam, the most repressive, backward, anti-Christian religion possible.
