It always amazes me how sick some people can truly be. How degrading they can be to another living being. So on that note I will once again speak about something that most of you already know about me. Some of you who are new friends do not, so here it goes. After my first marriage ended I began dating and I was raped by a man I believed I was in a relationship with. It was a horrible experience and one that I still live with. BUT I am a survivor not a victim. I choose to live life and not allow anything that was done to me deter me from being the best person I can be. I stand for strong survivors everywhere, male and female, who have the courage and conviction to stand up and be counted among the belief that we are human beings and should act as such. And those who fail to do so, should be held accountable for their actions and behaviours. I was raped, tortured, stalked, harassed, threatened, and he hoped he would be able to kill me. But I live, I survived, I thrive. I have a good life and I am happy. I win!
