It amazes me how people think the world revolves around them. I cant possibly have anything going on in my own life that might be stressful right now. Surely no one in my family could be dealing with anything that would require me to focus on them. Perish the thought that my HUSBAND & CHILDREN would need my attention, besides things going on in my own life that you arent even aware of. Because YOUR needs are more important than my family & even my own. Wow! I give a lot. Sometimes more than I should & Ive had to learn about healthy boundaries. Just because I draw them doesnt make me a horrible person. It means Im at my limit & I cant give anymore. If you require so much of others that your estimation of them drops entirely when their focus isnt on you, then perhaps you need to do some soul searching. Im good with where I am & my priorities are exactly where they should be!
