It amazes me how unsympathetic and judgmental we can be, that is until it hits home. How can you possibly take someone bringing light to a rare disease, and make jokes and say how stupid people are acting, or say its primarily a (certain race) disease, So what! We are all of the human race, to have a disease where youre literally a prisoner in your own mind, like all disease must be terrible. Yes there are many many other disease out there that people are unaware of. So take a stand do something to bring light to it. I believe all disease are terrible and i can say I hate them all, I wish there were a way to prevent all diseases, genetic or environmental. Why do we speak negative of someone taking a stand, using whatever tactic it takes to do so. God forbid any one of your family members has to suffer from any kind of disease, I bet then, you will not look at the race it affects, or the silly things people are doing to bring light to it.
