It appears that the snowfall has ended, just a few fluttering flakes left. Bill suited up in his Carhartt coverall to haul in more wood for the -24 temps tonight....with a real feel of -45. YUP, well burn some wood tonight~ Plus he has to shovel the drive & parking lot....MY staycation is almost over. I did patch a couple pair of jeans for my Vets kid today...he had a clothing emergency~ The wind is starting to pick up as per forecast. Ive been watching the wrens at the food dish and the wind is ruffling their tiny little feathers. There are purple finches and common red polls on the rail and pigeons & starlings on the ground. One of the finches looks like the KING, he has an extra tuft of shocking red on top of his head~ I am soooo glad he covered my special plants with straw before the snow, they will be far more safe now~Im already looking forward to spring~
