It bothers me when people like him act mystified by something like this. To me, the implication is that this is an isolated event - a freak accident. His comment about New York especially irks me. In reality, Eric Garners death is part of a long national tradition of brutal prejudice, and people like Beck should know this. His ilks refusal to address widespread racial disparity directly is counter-productive and should be scrutinized. Like the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day. In this case, a lot of people pay attention to that clock and when they check the time later, its still gonna be wrong.
