It came to our attention the false numbers of fallen Syrian soldiers that are out in either terrorists source or some media sources quoting from terrorists sources. Some of those media sources are well known, and we will not name any so it will not be taken as attacking the credibility of those sources. According to terrorists 1100 Syrian soldiers were killed since the Syrian president oath of the office. This number is far from being true, we did lose good men, especially in al-Sa`er gas field when terrorists first attacked. We did lose few good men in the 17th infantry as well, but this is a war and the numbers are not even close to whats out in the media. What terrorists are doing is well known as the corner stone of unconventional warfare. The use of media in their favor, therefore making people question the Syrian armed forces ability in protecting itself rather than protecting its own citizens. We ask you to have faith, we never withheld information when it came to our loses, we pride our sacrifice but the numbers that are out there are not correct. Syrian Arab Army
