It comes with much heartfelt thought and sadness to announce the closing of Hog Trough Smokehouse BBQ. Dad (Kenny Benoit), Founder/Owner/Pit Master, was recently diagnosed with late stage terminal lung cancer that spread to his brain. Our focus needs to be in helping fight for his life with intense treatment in the following months. This place just isn’t the same without him. We would like to thank all the many customers near & far, friends, employees and the Wickenburg community for supporting the Hog Trough. These past few years have been a blast! It has truly been our privilege to serve and we could not have made it a success without you all. Although we must close out this chapter of our lives, the restaurant and building are for sale and hopefully someone will recognize the opportunity & need for BBQ in this great little Western town. BBQ is Dads passion and we are so proud of what he and Mom accomplished. It was an honor to hear all the great things about our food from all we served. Thank you, Wickenburg and all our fans, for your support, prayers & positive thoughts. We will miss you!
