It could be the pain pill talking or sleep setting in, but want to take a quick moment to reflect on a particularly moving day for me. On my way into work today the song Carry On was playing, and until today I had never listened to the words. What I realized as I listened is I have a wonderful group of friends and family that stood by me during my job transition. Even when it is not popular to be right, sometimes you have to stand up for what you believe. No matter what others think or how difficult it gets, dont give up any part of you for anyone. Its going to be tough, people will sneer and even try to tell you how wrong you are...dont listen. They simply want control over you. Dont give them the satisfaction...be you and be proud. Thank you everyone for helping me realize this.....oh and thank you to those who trusted me and knew my potential even when I had forgotten.....
