It dawned on me a while ago that a bunch of our nations civil rights leaders and icons that really made an impact in this country and the world in general, were passing away. The ones who stood alone and faced the majority, took all kinds of scrutiny to voice their opinions because they felt their perspective could change the world...yea those people. What is going to happen 10 years from now? Who will take their place and guide this world full of misfits, speak out on reckless violence, give the youth positive role models to look up to, and bring the world together? When I sit back and observe, I see the exact opposite. The sad thing about it, is that it seems as though all of this negative behavior is accepted...not just that, but practiced and spread like wildfire. Some act as though they dont care, and some may consider this a rant...but mark my words, all this negative action doesnt come without consequence. Our future will definitely reflect. Im doing everything I can to play my part, who else is?
