It dawned on me today as I was thinking about the pressure I was putting on Muslims to speak out against the terrorism and threat to free speech and thought. Of course they should speak out. But what dawned on me was that while maybe not enough are speaking out, NOT ONE IS SUPPORTING IT. That may seem obvious except that IN AMERICA THERE IS A LARGE PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION THAT SUPPORTS OUR STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM. Muslim extremists may be crazy and cruel and killing for horrible reasons....but I would counter that our indiscriminate invasions has resulted in horrible deaths for horrible reasons.
