It happened! After competing 3 years it happened. I earned (not easily) my IFBB Pro Card as a Figure athlete!! Im a Believer in Jesus Christ and I am thankful for HIM giving me the strength, determination, and faith to pursue it. It has been a spiritual and physical journey of growth. And He brought me through it. He brought very special people in my life: some bitter and some sweet, but I learned vital lessons from them all and I thank God for them. Special special thanks to Jason Theobald of Natty Nutrition aka Scooby Prep. Jason helped me with a nutrition plan. He got me 30lbs ago and helped me through IBS, slowed thyroid and a metabolism slowed by months in Keto. I hate to tell you about him because I want him to be my secret weapon lol!! But someone told me so i cant be greedy. :-) My Trainer is one of Michigans best, IFBB Pro John Simmons at the Highland Park Powerhouse. John took charge of my training in 2012 and showed me how to train like a Pro. He helped me gain confidence and believed in me. I know God brought him to me. Thanks so much John. You know Michigan is abundant in great athletes and if you live here make sure you tap in to that resource. Saying that i must mention how thankful I am for Melissa Frabbiele Ifbb Pro and her other half Remi for their help and guidance during her posing clinics at Elite Fitness center. She provides more than just posing she gives insight on what to expect at a national level show. I have prayer partners all over but God sent me one specific for this area of my life - Tina Venadam. We text/prayed everyday. When I was tired and wanting to give up she would intercede for me and text back saying oh no God said keep going so i kept pushing. Love you T! Thank you Michigan Npc Family! For your support. Im thankful for my IFBB pro friends that encouraged, advised, inspired and motivated me: sweet as pie Ifbb Pro Linda, Ifbb Pro Chaya Boone. Always sweet and kind and helpful from the beginning. You never changed. Thank you to all that were at the show during the heat of the moment for your encouraging words. Im thankful for everyone who is reading this or any of my post because you inspire and motivate me. If i didnt mention u blame my head not my heart. I can only type so much here. :-) so i have to stop but could go on and on about the love i have received. God Bless!
