It happened again, this time RCP. As I was gearing up, a couple drove up to me in their truck and said, you look like you know what youre doing, can you help me with a bike question... Anyway, guy wanted to get into biking with his lady and was asking me about a Cannondale he found on Craigslist. He showed me the photos, etc. I asked if he had heard of DORBA and he said no, so I told him about the DORBA website, Facebook page and Classifieds page. Funny thing is this is often by people who frequent DORBA trails, but when asked, have no clue who or what DORBA is and that they are even on a DORBA trail. This is not a complaint, but if I was worried about people not being aware of my brand or group - this is a classic case of we might consider making DORBAs social media more spread out around the trails. Kind of like when you see a Parks and Recreation sign, you know youre on their trail but never think to look them up on Social Media because they are not a group. DORBA is a group, and people may just think DORBA is some generic parks and rec organization. OK, my 15 minutes are up. :-)
