It has been a good day, but an extremely emotional late afternoon. We lost Angus today, our 16 year old Jack Russell dog / family member. He became very ill, very fast, and the decision was made with a heavy heart to stop the suffering and discomfort. He was a great friend and companion. He was born in CA in 1998 and brought to KY and then on to TN. Our other 3 dogs knew something was up this afternoon. They just sat around waiting for Angus to return. He is buried on our property along with previous dogs Jock, Emma and Risky. Risky is our neighbors Jack Russell who passed away a few years back. Angus is with them in doggy heaven playing and probably being a little testy. RIP, we loved you as you loved us.
