It has been a truly heart breaking day for all of us at Kingsmoor today as we said our final goodbyes to two amazing Highland Ponies, it has been an honour and privilege to have Fraser and Fern in our lives and they will be so desperately missed by everyone who has been lucky enough to know them. Both were recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with serious health problems that would see them deteriorate rapidly over the coming weeks so the decision was made to spare them any further suffering and let them go together with the dignity they deserve. They were the last of my mum Ninas Highlands and were brother and sister out of her wonderful mare, Flair of Knocknagael. It is the end of an era and their loss will leave two massive, HiPo shaped holes in our lives but we have so many happy memories to take forward. Rest easy dear friends xx
