It has been a week today that the Forum finished. The Forum was attended by 700 participants from 44 countries on six continents. Over the course of the week, participants attended more than 120 workshops and seminars and 24 specialized Networks, engaged in nearly 300 one-on-one mentoring meetings, and joined the Forum’s first-ever expo, where 25 leading Christian organisations and strategies were represented. I personally got to meet several of the people I have been working with via email over the last six months. The appreciation, gratitude and genuine joy was overwhelming! Part of my Forum duties was to be in meetings with leaders of 12 different countries (Here they are: Poland, Serbia, Albania, Italy, Greece, Bosnia, the Faroe Islands, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, France, and Romania). How exciting! This is definitely a meaningful and successful outreach ministry to our brothers and sisters in Europe. Thank you for your prayers and interest. I have included photos I took of Wisla and of Krakow. Friday I spent 12 hours walking approximately 10 miles taking in as much of Krakow as I could. My pictures include the Jewish quarters - Kazimierz, the oldest synagogue in Poland, Schindlers factory, the Central shopping quarter - Rynkek Glowny, and the Wawel Castle. I walked on a 13th century cobbled road and saw whats left of the Jewish Ghetto wall built during WWII. Its hard to believe that I walked the streets of history talking with people from the Ukraine, from Greece and from a myriad of American states. What a true blessing this job has been and we know beyond a shadow of a doubt it was Gods doing! It was a honor to work with the CI staff who organized and administrated this successful event - and they all are young, bright, lovely people!
