It has been a while since I wrote about what the purpose is for this organization. We are not a Rescue, we want to avoid any Mastiff from going to shelters, Craigs list or Rescues. Breeders with a conscious take back their dogs, but, ideally, it is better to keep the dog in their home. Our Goal is to keep both human and Mastiff family together. Here is todays example of what we will do once we get funding.: If someone posts or contacts us and states they are moving and Cant keep dog. The first thing we will look into is why? Are you going to an oversees assignment? Living on a Ship at Sea? Are you going onto a military base that wont allow your dog? Is it fear of finding a rental that will take your mastiff? Do you not have the deposit for your dog? We will try to get people in the area they are moving to help locate a dog friendly housing situation. We will also assist in the Deposit. If they just are using the excuse to dump their dog, then we will contact rescues. The dog deserves better. This is one example of where we will help.
