It has been an awesome day! I got 6 wood burnings in the mail to Sahara Rogers for the Pizza Pro in Harrison and took 6 more to the Eureka Springs Ale House and Distillery. There I got to see the wonderful people who brought us Ginger and Mary Ann, the two baby possums that will be spending the winter with us. Also there was Mackenzie Doss, the wonderful lady who wrote the article on THWR that will be coming out in the Eureka Springs Independent newspaper either in tomorrows paper or next week, depending if they had room to gt the article in this week. I will post a link to my fb page so everyone here can read it when it does come out! My daughter came home to take her car to the shop (again) and I had to take her back to her dorm in Fayetteville. We walked out the door and there was a huge groundhog sitting in the carport eating from the food bowl that we keep cat food in for all the wild coons and possums that live in our area! He ran and we watched him duck under our shed. Maybe its a girl and we can watch some baby hogs grow up next summer! Anyway, heading to Fayetteville we took HWY 21 to 412 and were following another car. Right at the intersection (keep in mind its dark out too) a semi flew up our lane where the car in front of us was preparing to turn right to merge into the 412 lane! He slammed on his brakes and turned his car off the road to avoid a head on collision with the truck that did not even bother to slow down! I dont think he even realized he was in the wrong lane! Had he collided, that car would have been thrown into us and we could have been killed too. Praises to our loving God for protecting us and keeping us safe tonight!
