It has been exactly 135 days since the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services approved Michelet of his I-601 waiver. Mich has completed his medical exams, vaccinations, paid fees, had his passport taken away for 30 days by the Consulate in Haiti, was given back his passport empty a few weeks ago, applied for & received his certificate of good conduct from the Haitian police & dropped it off to the Consulate, paid more fees, and now before we know it our sweet baby boy is going to be born without his Daddy. Just the thought of that brings tears to my eyes, as I am trying so hard to stay hopeful even when my heart is aching with sadness. I havent seen Michelet since March 1st and I am not able to travel to Haiti as I am almost into my 3rd trimester. I am praying the Ambassade des États-Unis, Port-au-Prince (Haïti) is able to issue his visa soon, as honestly I am not sure how much stress and more wait time I can handle. I appreciate all of your prayers more than words could ever describe.
