It has been my pleasure to serve as a docent here for the past 9 years. I shall miss the erudite company and the fascinating patrons who have passed through from all over the world. We have taken artifacts out to the schools to teach about the Pioneer Trek and Southwestern Indians, as well as lead tours through the different areas of the museum. We have researched and shared many facets of church history with fellow docents. My favorite assignment has been to play the beautiful concert grand piano, donated to the church by J. Spencer Cornwall, each week. (There is nothing like those wonderful bass notes echoing through the galleries.) We have learned a new verb: deinstall. The galleries are being deinstalled before our eyes. Cant wait to see the exciting changes and progression into the digital world!
