It has just dawned to my heart as i wrote an inbox to one of my brothers in the Lord that, Christians would crusify you for speaking against things like christmas and easter as if this are biblical holidays. This shows how much we have allowed foreign religious practices into our faith and how gravely we have negletted the word of God as the sole guide of our worship and practice. In John 4:22 Jesus spoke so strongly to the Samaritan woman when He said to her, 'Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship...'. I feel the church has to a very large extend went back to the Samaritan worship, a mixture of pagan worship and the worship of YHWH. It is time to return to the cistern, the well of Life and one and only true God, The Great I Am. Exodus 32: In the wilderness when Moses went to commune with God and receive the commandments, the people could not be patient and they quickly turned aside, adopted an Egyptian Idol named Apis and they bowed down to it and said, 'this be the gods, O Israel, which brought thee out of Egypt'. A heart breaking experience and i can imagine the heart of Moses when he returned from the mountain. Sadly, this is the state in which the church is in today.
