It has taken me all day to realize this but I now know that I have personally taken a step in the right direction again. In the past 24 hours I have come into contact with two individuals who I can honestly say have hurt me the worst in my life. After catching a glimpse of one and seeing the other one, it made me realize how much a person can overcome. Time does kill the pain...but it doesnt erase the memories. Ive gotten pretty good at judging peoples character over the past year and I can honestly say that in this moment all the people that I hold closest to me are the people that are meant to be in my life. As the Rolling Stones put it......time is on my side...yes it is!
