It is ARCAs day of Thanksgiving here at the office. I just want to share that I am very thankful for my job and my co-workers. Working here has taught me what team work means when it comes to saving a life and making making life meaningful. I am thankful for the special and wonderful people I work for.. teaching me day after day that we all are important. Regardless of where we come from or what has happened to us in our past, we can still can go on and be happy in this life. I am thankful they are reason I find a reason to smile everyday. Five years ago, I would have never imagined loving and doing so well in this type of job but its amazing what God can ask from you...its amazing how well you will thrive when you really listen. Regardless of the pay, regardless of the drive... Regardless of the behaviors.. these ladies and gentleman have my heart. They depend on me, they are silly with me, they love me.. I love them. And when I make it to Heaven I cant wait to see them walking and talking and laughing in their perfect bodies,no longer disabled..no longer nonverbal.. no longer aggressive. I cant wait for them to spread their arms and welcome me with warm hugs and big smiles. We will all have made it through the dark and we wont have to hurt anymore..and we can just love and be thankful. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :-)
