It is Christmas somewhere in Luoland… a family wakes up to find the Christmas goat missing. The young nephew from the city decides to accompany his uncles in the very manly task of looking for the thief, except, they don’t think very much of his ‘manliness’ and he must stand up for himself and decide what manhood really means. https://youtube/watch?v=C0mZn3I196U Among the things I did last year, one of the most rewarding was developing the story and writing the script for this short film that LightBox Africa worked on in collaboration with Global Dialogues. The story had to be drawn from the work of five young writers who had submitted their writing for a competition and therein lay the creative challenge. Take a look and see what came of it all...
