It is National Black Dog day. At the shelters I volunteer at I believe black dogs are invisible to public. I have never gotten out a black dog for someone who asked me to see a dog. After finding out what people are looking for, then I would bring one or two out. I want people to see the personality and character of a dog, not the color or breed. Black cats and dogs have a tough life, people dont see them or prefer not to, and often black kitties are tortured by some around Halloween time. Please, give a black dog or cat a chance to change your life
