It is Raining and its November and I feel inadequate. My thoughts are toward the things I just cant seem to get right. We all have these days, but todays is mine. The place below adequate, the basement where I store my doubts. My mind drifts around to all the different families that I have and how they unknowingly feed me when I am in this basement. They are the places I dwell where it is fine to get it wrong, they see me for the things I get right and are unendingly patient. The family I was raised in, the family I am active in, the family where I question faith and spirit, and the family I also call my friends, each one an important incubator of a new me. I get it wrong often, but somehow it turns right due to the catalyst of love. The sun will smile on me soon and the elevator will take me back to adequate and perhaps another floor above. Blessed by stepping forward as Humans, all inadequate and adequate at times in our lives, with hopes of striving towards other options. I am successfully inadequate today, for the basement is the foundation for the rest of my life.
