It is Wednesday and the VBS color of the day is RED! There was a lot of heat lightning on the way to work this evening. Just flashes of light high in the sky. Could see the moon between the flashes. On the way home yesterday there was a fawn crossing the road. Still had the spots and froze in the road at first. When it made it to the woods it stopped just outside and stood and looked at me. The pictures of the house I mentioned yesterday, Dad says it does not look like he remembers the house. Still pray for these families. We read in Gods Word today: Psalm 119:129-135 New International Version (NIV) פ Pe 129 Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them. 130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. 131 I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands. 132 Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name. 133 Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. 134 Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts. 135 Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees. Lord we thank you for another day to do your will. We thank you for the beauty that surrounds us if we but take the time to look. Lord we thank you for the chances you give us each day to extend your love to another. We pray that our actions bring them closer to you. Without you we are nothing, only through you are we anything.
