It is a colossal event which reflects billions of dollars and a massive exertion of human energy. It draws believers and unbelievers, young and old, atheist and agnostic, capitalist and socialist, and everything in between. And in the end it will demand that everyone bow down to the will of man. And in an incredibly inconsistency many who claim God’s supreme sovereignty over all things will complain about outcomes inconsistent with Biblical morality. You see, this event breeds compromise and unchristian behavior and attitudes. It is a gargantuan departure from Christ and His teachings both subtly and openly. But just how can such a thing gain a foothold within the church and the hearts of professing believers? This is an amazing phenomenon which has widespread implications for the faith now practiced in America. It would be utterly impossible to communicate the depth and scale of this deception and how it continues to negatively impact the faith once delivered to the saints. There is really no hyperbole in this case. Like a man screaming about the house down the block consumed in flames until all the neighbors grow tired of his screeching, so are people like me who realize many have grown tired of such tirades. But the house IS being consumed with flames, and the deception IS sapping the life out of the faith. You see truth must be revealed even if it is rejected and even if the imperfect lips through which it comes become an incessant and bothersome dripping of a facet. Today, my friends, will reveal a pagan and antichrist event as offensive to Christ as an Aztec ritual. Should I cease from declaring truth? Should I grow weary of warning believers of their disobedience and pagan compromise? Should I be offended when I am called self righteous and some kind of unbalanced fanatic? I must reveal something to everyone. I have long since been delivered from worrying over my personal reputation. It really means nothing to me at all. If you call me self righteous I will agree. If you call me a poor example I will bow to your assessment. If you call me a nut case I will plead guilty. But if you say I do not represent the will of Jesus I must humbly resist. You see, I have never claimed to perfectly mirror the teachings of Jesus of which I speak. I am still a pilgrim who walks in God’s grace every single day, but that grace allows us all to preach and teach things about which we still have not completely conquered ourselves. It is a glorious wonder of His amazing grace.
