It is a part of planned propaganda of Congress, ISI and anti-national forces to highlight ‘atrocities’ of Hindus over Muslims in India. It is a known fact that in Gujarat Riots 2002, 254 Hindus were also killed along with 790 Muslims. According to 2001 census, there were 9 percent Muslims in Gujrat during riots. No where in the world, a minority group with only 9 percent of population have ever killed such a large number of members of a majority group as it happened in Gujrat in 2002. Even in India most of the riots had been one sided in past. In Noakhali (presently Bangladesh), in Oct- Nov, 1946, 5210 Hindus and 9 Muslims had been killed in pre-independence period. At the time of riot, Noakhali had 82% Muslims and 17 %Hindu population. In Kolkata,in Aug-1946, 7450 Hindus and 250 Muslims been killed in pre-independence period. At the time of riot, Kolkata had 35% Muslims and 65 %Hindu population. After independence, in Kashmir, more than 300 Hindus had been killed in 1989-1990, but not a single Muslim died. However, there are some interesting facts too. During Bhagalpur(Bihar) riots, in 1989, 1070 persons (majority were Muslims) were killed . At the time of riot, Congress Govt was there, and a two men enquiry committee also accused 14 Govt officials guilty for abetting Riots. But none in Media have ever called Bhagalpur Riots as State sponsored. In 1987,in Maliana(UP),during Congress regime, state Police(PAC) had been accused for killing of 40 Muslims during riot. But, again none have ever termed it as a state sponsored carnage. The gist of the facts narrated above is that Hindu – Muslim riots had not happened for first time in Gujrat in 2002. Even it was also not for the first time that ground level govt official had been accused for acting partially in favour of a community. But, the fact which causes concern in anti-Hindu and pro-congress forces regarding Gujrat riots is that for the first time in history of Hindu- Muslim riots, Hindus have emerged as a ‘ strong political group’ after riots and consecutively voting in favour of BJP and Modi in the State. The entire anti- Modi propaganda is aimed to malign the Hindu Sentiments to stop emerging Hindus as a ‘political group’ to vote in favour of a ‘Hindu leader’.
