It is a year since the bloody coup took place in Egypt. A year of killing, massacres and thousands of unjustified detentions. On the anniversary of the coup, the Egyptian Canadian Coalition for Democracy, and the Egyptian Canadian Home Organization will hold a vigil in front of the Egyptian Consulate for freedom lovers who reject the coup and support human rights in Egypt. This is to show the continuation of our revolution, and our continued rejection of the enslavement of the Egyptian people by its own army and to demand the return of legitimacy and the path to democracy.
