It is always a treat to get to see the Pirate Pacesetters in action. Today was no exception. Ms. McGaughy has assembled another incredible group of young ladies who stole the show today at camp in Mesquite. They stood out in each group they were in and the contingent of parents and support on hand was outstanding. The honors and awards were off the chart with ribbons beyond measure, 24 All-Stars with Abigail McDougal, Jenna Lowry and Denali Wright earning Miss Showtime awards. I couldnt keep up with all the other honors delved out but having Lexi Knight and Britley Gardner start it off with the National Anthem was a highlight as well. It is such an honor to be the principal of such excellence. It was great to see the impact of Ms. Powell already in her new role on the Pacesetters. It is going to be such a stellar year to watch this family of Pirates excel.
