It is always hard to leave the places that helped you grow up. I drive by where I lived in Prattville every time I go back, even though our home was torn down to widen the highway. There are ghosts there that will haunt that place in my heart forever. I owe them at least a moment when I go by. I sure understand how my sister and her children feel as she leaves her place where she lived for 25 years to move into an apartment.
