It is always nice to see Consolidated and Phoenix vintage lighting in use. Here are three good examples. The first is a Consolidated Line 700 10 vase in Coronation Blue that has been frosted on the inside. Stunning. The second is a Consolidated cased yellow Lovebirds lamp. Gorgeous! The third is a Phoenix Dancing Girls in a grey glossy finish with Pearl Iridescent finish. Elegant, isnt it? How many of you use your lighting? If you do, why not post some pics here for us to view? At our annual PCGCC convention (July 23-25, 2015 at the Embassy Suites Airport in Pittsburgh), there are always lamps for sale at VERY reasonable prices. It seems that lamps are not as popular as vases yet they add so much to a decor. At our convention, we invite the public to visit our Dealer Sales Room and our Members Sales Room from 7-9 pm on Thursday and Friday. This coming year, we have secured the Presidential Suite on the fifth floor where our Members Sales Room will be located along with our Hospitality Room. If you are in the area, drop by during the public hours. If you are already a PCGCC member, pay the convention fee to participate in early buying and our Members Only (non-public) auction where there are always some great bargains to be found along with some of the rarest pieces to be auctioned. Of course if you attend the convention, you can come to all of those events as part of the convention fee paid to the club. In any case, happy collecting.
