It is amazing how over-stimulated Matthew still is these days. This is being exacerbated by our living in a temporary place while we look for a new home. Matthew is very excited about everything and very overwhelmed. He is pacing back-and-forth; running here and there. The only thing I have to help me is our kittens. These kittens behave like puppies. They follow Matthew back-and-forth as he paces around; both of them right on his heels. When Matthew goes to sleep at night the kittens are right there with him, amazingly if Matthew rolls over on top of one of them, the kitten does not even make any noise. The kittens are incredibly tolerant of Matthew. Matthew also plays fetch with kittens like they are puppies. The ball is too big for them to pick up but they push the ball back to Matthew time after time. It is amazing how such a tiny animal can help calm down a big boy like Matthew. I truly do not know what I would do without them. The kittens, Ariel and Slasher, have become a big part of our family, and Matthew loves them very, very much.
