It is astounding to me to think that the alleged freedom of speech - TopicsExpress

It is astounding to me to think that the alleged freedom of speech in the US Constitution is thwarted by the very government that is charged with its enforcement and our supposed protection by it. Snowden, a fine upstanding American that has been maligned in the press because he believes there should be probable cause for this same government to mistrust its own people so much that it thinks it is a righteous thing to secretly wiretap all citizens for no reason except mistrust. This is because we do not have a government that derives its just powers from the people. People who give up freedom in favor of safety will have neither. The FBI now seeks to extradite and charge him for somehow breaking an alleged law. If there is such an unconstitutional and thus illegal law, then it should be repealed immediately. The system of checks and balances fails when all branches of government work constantly and incessantly against this self same document that was what was suppose to give them their power. Revelation 13:11 tends to show that this second horn (that came up in 1913)[Federal Reserve] which has now taken over the US or elected government will ultimately rise to control the world [Rev.13:17]. So it is essentially astounding to me that the American public just puts up with such nonsensical civil rights whittling.
