It is disturbing to me that the President of the United States would issue a public statement articulating his views on the first openly gay NFL draftee. He voiced total approval of the young mans lifestyle choice. This young man has been praised and lauded for his courage to make a stand for what he believes. However, when Tim Tebow was getting hammered in the media for his stand on the Bible and Christianity....the White House was strangely silent. Commentators basically told him to shut up about his faith. I am not surprised by this at all. It is simply one more piece in the official normalization of that which is in direct and blatant opposition to the moral standards God has written. Isnt it odd that wrong is given a friendly platform from which to speak while right is hustled offstage and shown the back door? God is watching us.
