It is frustrating to read that a U.S. citizen is being tortured - TopicsExpress

It is frustrating to read that a U.S. citizen is being tortured for his faith in Iran. What is even more frustrating is for millions of Americans screaming injustice because they claim he is innocent. The frustration comes not from the facts, but from the arrogance that Americans are known and despised for. This citizen is innocent by our standards, but Iran is not governed by our standards. It has its own laws and though we do not agree with them they are theirs and it is their right to govern how the desire. 1 of those laws is a strict NO CHRISTIANITY LAW. When you enter their country you are checked and given clearance with the understanding that you will obey their laws, just as someone would in America. When you break their laws you deserve their punishment. I have compassion for this pastor, and immense respect, but Americans must understand we do not rule the world and he broke the law. He knew what he was doing would see him being punished and so he is. Is it wrong? In America ABSOLUTELY!!!! But IRAN IS NOT AMERICA!!!! God Be with that man and his family!!!
