It is generally assumed that WiFi emits low levels of radiation. - TopicsExpress

It is generally assumed that WiFi emits low levels of radiation. This is false. Children using WiFi enabled laptops and iPads are exposed to the same levels of radiation as cell phones, but the difference is that the exposure is not limited to short duration phone calls. Wireless devices, such as iPads, are being used in schools for hours and hours on end, and many plan to use them all day, every day. This level of exposure is unprecedented. We are told that the jury is out, that there is no conclusive evidence that RF causes harm. The science tells a different story. For example, all long-term (over 10 years), case-control studies on cell phones have found an increased risk of cancer. Scandinavian studies show that children are most at risk, with over 500% increased risk after only one year of cell phone use. In 2012, after reviewing the scientific literature, the Italian Supreme Court ruled that cell phones cause cancer. The gates were thus opened internationally for legal cases involving cell phones. In 2013 an Israeli cell phone company settled with a customer who developed brain cancer. In summary: A. Cell phones cause cancer. B. WiFi devices emit similar amounts of radiation as cell phones. C. WiFi is used for much longer periods of time. You may be thinking: Yes, but WiFi is everywhere. True, but the radiation levels are not the same everywhere. The radiation drops off greatly with distance, so if your neighbor has WiFi, and you get their signal, the levels at 100 feet away will be very low compared to if a WiFi router is 10 feet away, or if a WiFi device is right in front of you.
