It is getting easier and easier to be away from Phoenix and the Diamondbacks. Once again, before tonights game, the owner (I cant stand to type or say his name) has ordered some fans wearing Giant garb to be removed from their seats behind home plate. Unless Im mistaken they bought those seats or someobody did.... Its some weird obscure rule that only one owner seems to use.... As Tommy Comer said in in his tweet- So glad the @Dbacks leaders are so concerned about opposing fans. The sheep wont notice the awful team theyve constructed. The owner and his minions just dont seem to get it. Want fans of your team in the ball park? WIN. Thats how its done. Dont want teams celebrating on your field when they clinch? WIN. Do they forget that the D-Backs clinched a couple titles on the road, were they asked not to celebrate? NO. The fans of the opposing team are not the problem..... the problem is an ownership group thats clueless and misleading a gullible, naive fan base. I still like the D-Backs, but their owner makes losses a little easier to take. Luckily hes in a non media center....if he owned a major market team hed be all over the place as a poster child for dumbass owners, but since hes created an irrelevant franchise nobody notices. Such a shame.
