It is heart breaking when young people are seen speaking against scholars or keeping grudges against them ... but it is absolutely amazing when same people fell in love with IMAMS Subhan Allah. One of our brothers have shared a similar story. Inspired by Nouman Ali Khan This is not a typical love story about a person falling in love at first sight with an opposite gender or having some secret feeling for someone from childhood but it is something which happened with me in real! Yes!! Loving the imam for the sake of Allah swt. I belong to a religious family, my mother is a confined Religious Speaker and my father was most humble person I have ever seen in my life. Though he wasn’t very religious but he strictly used to fulfill his Hakok-ul – Ibaad. However, my family didn’t have any impact on me. I was like a typical YO-BOY college student who just used to pray Jummah Prayers and hated Mulllaaassss and MOLVIESSS. But then my father died in an accident and it was the time which shook our lifestyle at an angle of 180 degrees. It was the time when I and my siblings started to pray regularly. I didn’t even know why I am praying but I just used to offer my prayers. In the mean time I got admission in university and then hostel life began to push me back again. Now no one was there to have check on me except those prayers which were just 5 times physical exercises for me. In my 2nd year at university, someone asked me that do I know NOUMAN Ali KHAN? And I was like NO, who he is? And then his Facebook page was posted on my profile. I visited his profile and was like “hmmm he is Religious scholar, ahaan, Good”, then I saw some of his videos on youtube and some others on a DVD gifted by my Best friend. I was so surprised by his love for Quran, speech, style, examples, care for the Ummah, and most importantly his gestures. He used to laugh in his lectures that showed me Islam from another perspective. I was like “why I was never exposed to Islam this way? Do Muslims and religious speakers laugh too? Aren’t they are like Haraam Police? Even in my Jummah prayers I was often called out “beta ap ki namaz nahi hoi, apny toppi nahi pehni hui or ap ney yahoodion ki pent shirt pehni hui hy” Since my childhood I knew that Allah is Merciful, and HE will forgive all of us and every Muslim will go to Jannah after completing his punishment in hellfire. I used to believe that Allah will put me in Jannah after some punishment so what is the problem, enjoy LIFE”. But Nouman Ali Khan pulled me out of my dream without causing any distress rather exposing me to the REAL world. Now I am very thankful to Allah swt for HIS countless blessings upon me and that HE guided me to the straight path in a wonderful way. I haven’t met Nouman Ali Khan but I love him for the sake of Allah swt. I follow some other scholars too but the person who influenced me most is him. May Allah bless him in this world and hereafter, increase his knowledge so that he can explain Quran to the Muslim Ummah and to the entire world. (Amin)
